DANCE OF THE EARTH
by Amanda Durish, age 13

The sun tangos with playful clouds.
The birds and the sky sing out a cheerful tune.
Grass jigs in the crisp warm air.
Even the roots have rhythym.
A rainbow dances across the sky
Spreading out bold and bright.
The rich soil waltzes with delicate frilly flowers.
Weeds clumsily twirl with large dew drops.
Trees whisper out a smooth melody.
Insects join in - chirping and buzzing to the beat.
And the Earth dances on as the fiery sun sets,
And the moon making its long awaited entrance - joins in.
