Thursday morning was our last day in Quimper.
Like in all three days, we woke up at 6:30. We arrived at school with
our baggage, which were very heavy and we prepared ourselves to spend
our last hours with our new friends we had made.
Our teacher, Mrs. Mihaela Postelnicu spoke with a class from this
high about romantism and also read them a little poetry written by
Eminescu, our national poet. The students assisted Mister Trevor,
English teacher for an hour.
During that hour we saw old tapes of the students from that class.
It was very amusing but also it was educational because the students
spoke all the time in English. Ten o'clock, the teachers spoke about
the future plans for the project. Then we went shopping because it
was our last day in Quimper.
After we took some picures of some of the best sites in town, we went
to school because the big break was arriving. During the break we
ate at the cafeteria with all the Le Likes students as we had eaten
in all the 3 days before. After we extanged email addresses and telephone
numbers we promised eachother that we would write each other. We said
"good bye" to our hosts and hoped that we would see them
again someday.
We arrived in the Quimper train station. From there our travel continued.
Our next stop was Brest. There we saw an amazing town with people
as nice as Quimper's people. At the train station Mrs. Marie-Yvonne
was waiting for us. She would be our new host for the next 2 days
in Brest.
Next we went to the IUFM, an educational center were the students
who finished college could learn to become teachers. We saw classes
were the students were learning and on my opinion that building was
one of the most modern buildings I have ever seen. From there we went
to our new houses where we would spend the next 2 days in Brest. In
the evening we all gathered in Marie-Helen house and ate traditional
food of that region.
After a very nice evening spent like a big family, each of us went
to our host's house because we were very tired and the next day would
be full of new adventures.
