One of cities we visited was
Quimper, a town full of traditions and with a very rich culture. Quimper
isn't a very big town and its streets are not so large. In the wintertime,
the shops, important buildings from the city, and even the houses
are decorated. |

In the middle of the town is the cathedral.
It is very big and is built in gothic style from the XIII century
and was finished in the XIX century. This construction was dedicated
to St. Corentin. Even if the streets aren't so big they are always
filled with thousands of tourists who come here every year to see
a breton city. |
| For 75 years a festival named
"Cornouaille festival" is held on the third and fourth Sunday
of every July in Quimper. Quimper is full of places named Creperies
where they serve traditional pancakes. In town the constructions are
made in a modern style and the Quimper houses are very much alike.
They are all white with a black or brown roof. Quimper is a town of
art and history. It is a town with a breton influence and so many
tourists are interested in the culture, traditions and language of
this region. In time, tourism has developed a lot in Quimper becoming
one of the most important industries in town. |

Quimper este un oras al artei si al istoriei,
un oras cu un specific breton ce gazduieste an de an turistii interesati
de cultura, traditiile si limba specifica acestei regiuni. De-a lungul
anilor turismul s-a dezvoltat foarte mult in Quimper devenind una
din cele mai prospere industrii ale orasului.
Acest oras avand iesire la mare are totodata un specific marin. Ce
m-a impresionat in acest oras este curatenia acestuia si felul in
care este decorat dar si sentimentul |
| What impressed me most about
Quimper was that besides being a very clean city and the way it was
decorated, but also the local feeling for their traditions, culture
and language too. The green spaces aren't missing in Quimper either.
Due to their weather, the plants are always green even in the Wintertime.
In Quimper, many people still an old language named bretagne. In the
bretagne language Quimper is named Kemper. |
| This town deserves to be visited
by any one who is interested in culture, traditions and historical
towns. Quimper is a town of art and history. |
