Gina Brooks attended Flint Southwestern Academy (high school) in Flint, MI. Currently in the Lyman Briggs program, she will be graduating in May 2001 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Science and Technology Studies with a Medical Humanities Concentration. She plans to pursue a career in public health, her interests are spirituality in medicine, women's health, and diabetes in the African American population.

Alric Hawkins is originally from Tuscumbia, Alabama where he attended Deshler High School. He is a student of Lyman Briggs/ Medical Technology with a specialization in Health and Humanities. He is currently in his third year and will graduate in May 2002. His area of interest in medicine is Primary Care. His hobbies include reading and listening to music.

Originally from the metro-Detroit area, Michael Mantinan attended Henry Ford II High School and the Macomb Mathematics Science Technology Center where, upon graduation he was his class valedictorian. Currently he is a physiology sophomore with a specialization in health and humanities. He aims to continue his education in the medical school after graduation.

Meagn Lewis attended Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan. She is currently a junior in kinesiology department. This major was of interest to her because of her love for sports. Upon graduating she plans to attend medical school to fulfill her dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.

Originally from Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, Tami Menard grew up in Bath Michigan, where she attended Bath High School. A physiology sophomore, Tami has not zeroed down on a specific medical field but is generally interested in pathology, alternative medicine, neurology, and psychiatry. Her hobbies include downhill skiing, scuba diving and sky diving.
