Chart 3.1. Income Distribution in Three Countries for Percentage of Households (with average income in dollars)

Each of these countries shows a similar trend in how wealth is distributed, but there are large differences among low-, middle-, and high-income countries in the amount of money people earn. The rich of Tanzania would be the poor of Morocco; the poor of the United Kingdom would be the rich of Morocco.
