Watershed Success Stories

People learn a lot by sharing stories. Here is an opportunity for you to share stories about successful efforts your organization, school or community have made to research, educate about, or improve your local watershed -- and to see what others have done.

All stories are stored in a searchable database. You'll may select stories to read (or to capture and print from your own computer) based on your own interests.

We also hope you will add your own story to the database. To be accepted, stories should

  • focus on successful watershed efforts
  • be 250 words or less (<1250 characters)
  • be written in English, with reasonably good grammar and spelling
  • you must fill in the blanks and check off categories on the submittal form. (You may want to check multiple categories.)

Your story will be reviewed to see if it meets these guidelines. (If it doesn't, we'll return it to you with a polite rejection note.) Then it will be added to the watershed success stories database -- within a couple of days.

Hint: Use the "save as" option in your WWW browser to save a copy of the source code for this form on your computer disk. Then you can fill out the form while you're off-line. Just be sure you're on-line before pushing the "Submit" button.
