Tutorials : Submitting Data to GLOW
Throughout the Global Lab Curriculum, you will be collecting data, submitting that data to the Web, and studying the data you and your fellow GL participants have collected. This tutorial runs you through the process of submitting your data to GLOW (Global Lab Online Workspace). |
Select GLOW in the GL Workspace. |
You should register if - this is the first time you have submitted data to GLOW - you wish to create a new identity (for a new team or individual). |
You can sign in as a class or team instead of as a specific person. Make sure you put something in both the first and last name boxes. Choose a username and password that you will remmeber. You can use your class username and password again, or you can create new identities, such as for teams or individual students. |
You can now Sign In. |
You have to join a project as a participating member in order to submit data to that project. |
Describe yourself, your team, or your class as relevant to this project. Formatting, such as paragraph breaks, will not be saved. |
Click on the title of the project you want to submit data to. |
You can submit your data to the Table page of the project. |
Be careful of your units. |
After you have submitted a row of data, you can make edits by clicking on the number in front of the row to make the row active. |
Remeber to logout of GLOW when you are finished. |
